About Center for Community Solutions
Founded in 1969, CCS’s mission is to end relationship and sexual violence by being a catalyst for caring communities and social justice. CSS helps over 23,000 adults and children with programs to prevent relationship abuse and recover from sexual violence each year. The nonprofit runs the only rape crisis center and domestic violence center within San Diego, and provides counseling, advocacy, education, and legal services.
CCS furthers its endeavors by working with community groups and schools to provide prevention programs for healthy relationships and peaceful communities.
Advocacy and Volunteerism
Jessica Pride’s passion for volunteerism stems from deep roots instilled by her parent’s own dedication to civic service. She has a long history with other organizations such as Big Brothers/Big Sister’s program. She believes that serving her community is not only her duty as an attorney but also a privilege as an advocate of abuse survivors everywhere.
With her role as Board President of CCS, Jessica Pride looks forward to leading the organization with further success through 2018.
